"I absolutely love going to see Dr. Carroll and his staff. Dr. Carroll always comes in with a smile on his face and asks how you are doing. He tells me exactly what he's going to do first. He will tell me if the shot may sting a little. If it does he'll say "oh I'm so sorry" but it's almost over. His staff does the same. Then before I leave they ask am I ok and how I'm feeling. Office staff are the same. They also give you instructions before you leave about your procedure.I cannot recommend Dr. Carroll's dental practice enough.Thank you for always caring 🙏🏼"

"The dentist is never a favorite I look forward to going to, esp for a root canal, but given the circumstances, they made the experience as pleasant as possible. I particularly appreciated that he didn't make me keep one of those insanely uncomfortable ginormous bite blocks in my mouth that are so large they gag you. They did use a tool to prop my mouth open but it was small and didn't gag me like the others. I'd def use them if another root canal is in my future."

He is and still will always be the best dentist 💕 I was completely terrified and he gave me enough injections to put a horse to sleep but I was too scared and it was too painful so he had to give me gas. "Usually I do not write reviews, but Dothan Endodontics deserves 5 stars. Dr. Carroll is an outstanding and very experienced entist. He will first make a drawing and explain what is going on with your teeth in simple terms, so you have a good understanding of what needs to be done and why. Then, he will do everything he can to save your tooth and produce the best result for you. For those who are worried about pain, the procedure is absolutely painlesss. Overall, you can truly rely on and trust Dr. Carroll and Dothan Endodontics. Their office is also very nice and in a nice neighborhood too. Even if you do not live in Dothan but a but further away or even as far as Florida, this place is worth going to for your dental needs."

And Dr. Carroll genuinely tried to help me get this tooth out. But the infection was so bad. He made sure before I left his office I had some relieve in it. Within 24 hrs of that visit I started feeling better. He didn’t have to do that for me. That tooth wasn’t the reason I was scheduled to see him. But he actually cared about how I was feeling. And that means more to me than anything. He cares in a world that too often you feel like people just do it for the money. Not Dr. Carroll. He cares!"

"Awesome experience with Lee Van. Been bumped from multiple appointments from another oral surgeon around the corner. I desperately needed to have a 25-year-old root canal tooth extracted. Literally rotting in my head and couldn’t seem to get any traction with another local oral surgeon. One quick call to lee Van Carol and was immediately sitting in front of him, checking out the situation and he agreed it needed to come out ASAP. The next thing you know it was done and all over with. The best part was one pain pill after the removal because I was nervous. Woke up the next morning with zero pain. "Dr Lee Carroll spent quite a bit of time with me trying to figure out which tooth was hurting. He’s done several root canal’s on my teeth through the years. He’s very knowledgeable at giving medication to deaden the nerves. He gives the medication time to deaden the nerves. The actual procedure doesn’t take long. It depends on the number of roots the tooth has, of course. If you have to have a root canal done, he’s a good one to do it. I like the staff, they’re very knowledgeable, with state of the art equipment. The waiting room is cold, so if you’re cold blooded wear a jacket. While you’re waiting for the doctor in an exam room, you can use the restroom. When you get old and long of tooth, both root canals and restrooms are necessary. I wish they could restore my youth, but they can help me weather old age."

From walking in the front door to Dr. Carroll doing an anterior root canal on my lower front tooth #26, it was evident that this office spends time on building a workplace where those who work there truly get along and enjoy working with each other. After a little bit of numbing gel, he said he was going to shake my cheek and he administered the deep shot and it was like a regular walk in the park. The whole procedure went the same. If you have ever had a root canal you must be asking yourself. Praise the Lord! Has he lost his mind? If you have never had a root canal then you are probably also asking yourself. Praise the Lord! Has he lost his mind?Well after months of having discomfort from one of my teeth I made an appointment and was able to see my endodontist, Doctor Lee Carroll, this morning (1/30/24). After evaluating my tooth he stated that instead of performing a root canal he might have to extract my tooth. So in addition to the extraction he would then have to implant a new molar/tooth in it’s place. He just could not be sure until after he was able to see how damaged the tooth was. So while sitting along in the chair while giving the initial numbing agent time to work the prayer that I asked in Jesus’ name was that Dr. Carroll would be able to complete the root canal.That prayer was answered in the very most positive way possible. Once Doctor Carroll was able to get to the “root of the problem” - yep, pun intended – he was able to complete the root canal therapy. So while my jaw is sore right now, and I will still have to have a permanent crown placed on the tooth in a few weeks I am doing quite well. So one more time Praise the Lord, I had a root canal this morning!"
