"The dentist is never a favorite I look forward to going to, esp for a root canal, but given the circumstances, they made the experience as pleasant as possible. I particularly appreciated that he didn't make me keep one of those insanely uncomfortable ginormous bite blocks in my mouth that are so large they gag you. They did use a tool to prop my mouth open but it was small and didn't gag me like the others. I'd def use them if another root canal is in my future."

"I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Chaz Ainswoth and his staff!! This was my first root canal !!! I was in so much pain!! My tooth had major trauma to it plus it was decaying!! When I tell you the worst thing was my anticipation!! They walked me through everything that was you to be done, did a 3D CT scan before and after procedure to show you what was done… When they finished I was given Ibuprofen and Tylenol and had little to no pain at all!! Definitely would recommend Dothan Endodontics Associates for your needs you won’t be disappointed…"
"I arrived at 8:36 for a 9 o’clock appointment. I had completed all my paperwork the night before I arrive turned in my paperwork and just as I sit down in the waiting room, they were coming to get me. They took a CT and a couple x-rays and started to work immediately. They were very efficient and everyone was very pleasant and very cordial. You could tell they truly cared about my treatment and performing it to the best of their ability. I would definitely recommend Dr. Carol to anybody. I’ve always heard bad stories about root canals, but I was able to go back to work that morning and work the rest of the day. I am very pleased with the whole process and would definitely go back to see Dr. Carol in the future."

"Dr. Ainsworth went above and beyond to help me yesterday. I was referred to DEA for a routine root canal, but it ended up being a much larger issue that I came in with. He could have patched me up once he found out the real issue and sent me to the oral surgeon, but instead cancelled afternoon appointments and took care of the problem himself. He went above and beyond so we could resolve the issue and I'm on the road to recovery. Thank you so much for your compassion and care since this was not something that either of us anticipated."
"Dr Ainsworth, Brantley, and another assistant whose name I don’t remember, were very professional and treated me like I was the only patient in the building during my root canal. Apparently, due to the location of my tooth and the extreme length of my roots, the root canal presented great challenges, but they were all overcome by the doctor and his team. I didn’t even realize how difficult and stressful their task was until they were almost finished. I appreciate their hard work and determination. I have had no problems since the appointment 3 days ago and I’m not anticipating any."

I came in last week for a root canal unfortunately, I had a cracked tooth and had to have an extraction .The procedure went well, I felt no pain during it . The doctor and nurses were so kind . I like how informal the doctor is and how they all act like they care . They explain everything that is happening, I have anxiety so this helped ease my nerves. I seriously would even switch to this dentist for regular services if possible. This place deserves 10 stars!"

"Awesome experience with Lee Van. Been bumped from multiple appointments from another oral surgeon around the corner. I desperately needed to have a 25-year-old root canal tooth extracted. Literally rotting in my head and couldn’t seem to get any traction with another local oral surgeon. One quick call to lee Van Carol and was immediately sitting in front of him, checking out the situation and he agreed it needed to come out ASAP. The next thing you know it was done and all over with. The best part was one pain pill after the removal because I was nervous. Woke up the next morning with zero pain. Lee Van will be my guy from now on."

Getting a root canal or dental implants are not at the top of my desired activities but have been necessary for me after a long history of dental issues since childhood. "Dr Lee Carroll spent quite a bit of time with me trying to figure out which tooth was hurting. He’s done several root canal’s on my teeth through the years. He’s very knowledgeable at giving medication to deaden the nerves. He gives the medication time to deaden the nerves. The actual procedure doesn’t take long. It depends on the number of roots the tooth has, of course. If you have to have a root canal done, he’s a good one to do it. I like the staff, they’re very knowledgeable, with state of the art equipment. The waiting room is cold, so if you’re cold blooded wear a jacket. While you’re waiting for the doctor in an exam room, you can use the restroom. When you get old and long of tooth, both root canals and restrooms are necessary. I wish they could restore my youth, but they can help me weather old age."

"I had never been to Dothan Endodontics Associates priority to my recent visit. I am from Michigan and developed a severe tooth ache after arriving in Dothan. I searched for a Dentist who would treat my condition. I found Dr Geoff Gaunt of Dothan Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Gaunt examined my tooth and got me a next day 7:00am appointment with Dr Chaz Ainsworth at Dothan Endodontics. Dr Ainsworth examined my tooth and presented options for me to choose for treatment. I chose to have a root canal procedure. Dr Ainsworth did a great job of repairing my tooth and educating me on what I should tell my Michigan dentist about the procedure I had just undergone. From walking in the front door to Dr. Carroll doing an anterior root canal on my lower front tooth #26, it was evident that this office spends time on building a workplace where those who work there truly get along and enjoy working with each other. After a little bit of numbing gel, he said he was going to shake my cheek and he administered the deep shot and it was like a regular walk in the park. The whole procedure went the same. If you have ever had a root canal you must be asking yourself. Praise the Lord! Has he lost his mind? If you have never had a root canal then you are probably also asking yourself. Praise the Lord! Has he lost his mind?Well after months of having discomfort from one of my teeth I made an appointment and was able to see my endodontist, Doctor Lee Carroll, this morning (1/30/24). After evaluating my tooth he stated that instead of performing a root canal he might have to extract my tooth. So in addition to the extraction he would then have to implant a new molar/tooth in it’s place. He just could not be sure until after he was able to see how damaged the tooth was. So while sitting along in the chair while giving the initial numbing agent time to work the prayer that I asked in Jesus’ name was that Dr. Carroll would be able to complete the root canal.That prayer was answered in the very most positive way possible. Once Doctor Carroll was able to get to the “root of the problem” - yep, pun intended – he was able to complete the root canal therapy. So while my jaw is sore right now, and I will still have to have a permanent crown placed on the tooth in a few weeks I am doing quite well. So one more time Praise the Lord, I had a root canal this morning!"

"Dr Lee V. Carroll seems like such a down to earth Guy and does great work. I have never had a root canal done where I didn't feel actual pain. Not with Dr Carroll, there was the normal discomfort from numbing shots(even that was done gently). After that there wasn't any actual pain and he let me know each time pressure was needed. Staff was also very polite and kind.
